I LIKE TO GIVE FREEDOM TO THE PEOPLE I CAPTURE TO LET THEM EXPRESS THEMSELVES IN THE WAY THEY WANT. THE RESULTS ARE ALWAYS VERY INTERESTING AND UNEXPECTED, AND I THINK THIS IS HOW MAGIC WORKS IN A WAY TO CAPTURE MOMENTS.

FAQ
What ages do you photograph?
I work with dancers of all ages - from tiny dancers to pre-professionals and seasoned artists. Each session is customized to the dancer’s level, strengths, and comfort.
Do you help with posing?
Absolutely. I guide dancers through shapes, lines, transitions, and safe execution of movements. My goal is to highlight technique while keeping the dancer comfortable and supported.
What should we wear?
Neutrals, classic leotards, skirts, flowy fabrics, and pieces with movement photograph beautifully. I recommend 1–3 looks and can help you choose outfits during our planning call. Avoid busy patterns unless they’re part of a specific vision.
How long does a typical photo session last?
The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the project. Portrait sessions typically range from 1 to 2 hours, I strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. Our editing process typically takes 2-3 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
How do you keep dancers safe during the session?
I never ask a dancer to perform anything unsafe, overly difficult, or outside their ability. Safety, technique, and alignment come first. Floors, surfaces, and weather are all considered before approving leaps or tricks.
Do you offer studio or outdoor dance portraits?
Both. Studio portraits offer dramatic, controlled lighting for fine-art work. Outdoor sessions create movement with natural light and environment. We’ll choose the setting that best fits your vision.
Do you travel for dance portraits?
Yes! I serve the San Antonio area and travel throughout Texas and beyond. Travel fees are custom-quoted at booking, and you can join my travel date announcements to share costs.
