Some sessions just stick with you, and this one with Alysa and her horse Fred was one of those. The light was beautiful, the breeze was warm, and the bond between these two was undeniable. You could feel how much trust and love they share.

Alysa is a total firecracker: bold, radiant, and completely herself. She brought all the western cowgirl energy, with a fearless confidence that lit up every frame. And Fred? He’s got a personality just as big. From silly expressions to leaning into Alysa like a giant lapdog, he kept us all laughing the entire time. Their connection is something special, equal parts playful, powerful, and full of trust. These are the kinds of moments I love most as a San Antonio equestrian photographer: the real ones, full of life and light, where horse and rider just get each other.
